Terms of Service
These terms describe the managed marketplace relationship between customers, professionals and Karegar.
1. Booking contract
A booking is created from a time-limited quote and an address snapshot. The customer must provide safe access and accurate job information; Karegar assigns or presents eligible professionals according to the selected matching method.
2. Pricing and additional work
The confirmed booking total is the source of truth for the original scope. A professional must submit an itemized quotation for additional labour, travel or parts. Work outside the approved quotation is not authorised.
3. Payments, refunds and protection
Available payment methods and their status are shown before payment. Refunds, holds, disputes and any escrow-like protection are subject to the payment method, complaint window and recorded completion evidence.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
Cancellation, rescheduling, provider reassignment and no-show decisions are recorded in the booking history. Any applicable fee is disclosed before confirmation.
5. Warranty and complaints
Warranty duration, exclusions, complaint deadlines and support response commitments are shown on the booking record when applicable. Customer-supplied, used or unsuitable parts may be excluded.
6. Marketplace responsibility
Karegar manages the transaction and support trail but does not replace a qualified professional’s judgment. Users must not request unsafe, illegal or hazardous work through the platform.
7. Privacy, location and suspension
Location sharing is limited to active operational purposes. Accounts may be restricted for fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, document misuse, payment abuse or repeated policy violations. See the Privacy page for data controls.
8. Emergencies and disputes
Safety concerns should be reported immediately. Karegar may preserve messages, evidence and status records while investigating a complaint. Local emergency services take priority over platform support.
